The Henry H012GCL Big Boy Side Gate is a full-size lever-action rifle chambered in .45 Colt (Long Colt) with a 10+1 capacity. It features a 20" round blued steel barrel and a blued steel receiver, paired with a classic American walnut stock designed for right-handed shooters.
This rifle carries forward the timeless appeal of a steel lever-action finished for real-world use. Built around a solid steel receiver and finished in a subdued matte blued finish, it offers a traditional look with a non-reflective, low-glare finish well suited for the woods, the range, and everyday outdoor work. The American walnut furniture complements the classic style, making the H012GCL look right at home in the field with an honest, familiar, and purpose-built aesthetic.
The smooth Henry lever action cycles reliably and naturally, offering fast follow-up shots and excellent balance for comfortable carrying throughout the day. The side loading gate paired with a removable tube magazine allows for easy topping off while unloading safely. The matte blued steel finish reduces glare and stands up well to regular handling, making this rifle built to be used, not babied.
The model H012GCL includes the large loop lever for enhanced handling, making it suitable for hunting and practical shooting situations.
