Simunition 5.56 NATO Non-Marking 500 Rds (SKU: 10886222003176)

The Simunition® FX Non-Marking Cartridges are specialized training ammunition designed for use in scenarios where marking projectiles are not desirable. These cartridges are available in 9mm and 5.56mm calibers and provide a realistic force-on-force interactive training experience with reduced energy and no marking compound.

Product Overview

Simunition® FX Non-Marking Cartridges replicate the characteristics of FX marking cartridges except for the marking capability and have an effective ballistic match distance of 16 feet (5m) compared to 25 feet (7.6m) with the marking cartridges. They are compatible only with Simunition® certified conversion kits, which modify the operation of the weapon to blowback operation suitable for training.

9mm FX Non-Marking Cartridge

• Composed of a brass cartridge case, propellant, ToxFree® percussion primer, plastic sabot, and deforming plastic projectile without any marking compound.
• Designed for force-on-force training in environments where marking is not wanted.
• Requires a Simunition® certified conversion kit for functional operation, enabling cycling of the weapon.
• The polymer sabot expands upon ignition to initiate cartridge cycling and propels the projectile through the barrel via pressure released through a choke hole.

5.56mm FX Non-Marking Cartridge

• Composed of a brass cartridge case, propellant, percussion primer, sealing disc, plastic sabot, and deforming plastic projectile without any marking compound.
• Also requires use with Simunition® certified conversion kit for proper function and cycling.
• Upon ignition, pressure expands the telescopic sabot and propels the projectile through the barrel via a choke hole in the sealing disc.
