United Shield Mich LE Helmet w/ Omega Harness System

The United Shield Mich LE Helmet with Omega Harness System is a high-performance ballistic helmet designed to provide advanced protection, comfort, and compatibility with tactical gear.

Design and Construction

This ACH/MICH helmet replaces the older PASGT model with a lighter weight, higher cut at the back and sides, and removal of the front peak. Its low profile design allows excellent compatibility with communications equipment, gas masks, and helmet-mounted night vision goggles. The helmet is made from para-aramid materials, providing robust lightweight protection against ballistic and fragmentation threats.

Harness System

The helmet features a four-point harness anchored with ballistic-resistant bolts. This Omega harness system can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement, enhancing comfort and fit.

Protection Levels

• Meets NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA ballistic protection standards.
• Fragmentation protection against fragments at V50 of 670 m/sec (2200 fps), based on STANAG 2920 (17 grain Fragment Simulating Projectile) and US MIL STD 662F testing.
• Exceeds US Military V50 multi-fragmentation requirements for ACH helmets.

Sizes and Colors

• Available in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large sizes.
• Standard colors include Black, Tan, and OD Green.
• Other colors including IRR paint finishes and hydrodip Multi-cam are available upon special order.
