The United Shield Mich LE Mid Cut Helmet with Omega Harness System is a durable and lightweight ballistic helmet designed to provide advanced protection and compatibility with various tactical equipment.
ACH/MICH Mid Cut Ballistic Helmet
This helmet was created to replace the PASGT helmet and features a raised ear design to facilitate integration with communications gear, gas masks, and especially helmet-mounted night vision goggles. Constructed from para-aramid material, it offers robust protection against ballistic and fragmentation projectiles, as well as other low energy threats.
The helmet is equipped with a four-point harness, anchored with ballistic resistant bolts, which can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.

- ACH/MICH – MIL: Utilizes a 4D 7-pad system for enhanced comfort and stability.
- ACH/MICH – LE: Features a traditional mesh 4-point harness aimed at improving size adjustability, air flow, and heat management.

- Ballistic Protection: Meets NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA standards.
- Fragmentation Protection: Offers protection against fragments with a V50 of 670 m/sec (2200 fps) per STANAG 2920 (17gr FSP) and US MIL STD 662F, exceeding US Military V50 multi-fragmentation requirements for the ACH helmet.
- Sizes: Available in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large.
- Colors: Standard colors include black, tan, and OD green. Other colors, including IRR paint finishes and hydrographic transfer Multi-cam, are available upon special order.
- Optional Accessories: Include ballistic visors, anti-riot visors, neck protectors, multiple harness options including USI BOA® retention harness, pad systems, helmet covers, carrying bags, and police identifiers.
