The United Shield Mich MIL High Cut w/ BOA Harness Helmet is a ballistic helmet designed to provide lightweight, robust protection against ballistic and fragmentation threats. It features a high cut design that offers raised "above the ear" protection, allowing integration with communication equipment, gas masks, and helmet-mounted night vision goggles.
Design and Construction
- Constructed from para aramid material for durable, lightweight ballistic protection
- High cut style replaces the older PASGT helmet, sharing many features with the standard ACH/MICH helmets
- Four-point harness system anchored to the shell with ballistic resistant bolts for secure fit
- Removable harness for easy cleaning or replacement
- BOA retention harness enhances comfort and adjustability
Protection Levels
- Meets NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA ballistic protection standards
- Fragmentation protection against V50 of 670 m/sec (2200 fps) according to STANAG 2920 and US MIL STD 662F
- Exceeds US Military V50 multi-fragmentation requirements for the ACH helmet

- Standard colors include black, tan, and OD green, with special orders available for additional colors including IRR paint finishes and hydrographic Multi-cam transfer
