The ACH/MICH Mid Cut Ballistic Helmet is engineered to replace the older PASGT helmet, offering enhanced protection and compatibility with modern tactical equipment.
Design and Compatibility
This mid cut helmet features raised ear protection to allow seamless integration with communication devices, gas masks, and helmet-mounted night vision goggles. Constructed from advanced para-aramid material, it delivers a lightweight yet robust defense against ballistic threats and fragmentation.
Harness and Comfort
The helmet includes a four-point harness system securely attached with ballistic resistant bolts. The harness is removable for easy cleaning or replacement. Two variants are available:
- ACH/MICH – MIL: Features a 4D 7-pad suspension system designed to enhance comfort and stability.
- ACH/MICH – LE: Equipped with a traditional mesh four-point harness that improves size adjustability, airflow, and heat management.
Protection Levels
- Ballistic Protection: Meets NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA standards.
- Fragmentation Protection: Provides defense against fragments with a V50 of 670 m/sec (2200 fps) per STANAG 2920 and US MIL STD 662F, exceeding US Military requirements.
